About Chelation Therapy

What is Chelation?

Chelation (pronounced key-LAY-shun) is a chemical process by which a metal or mineral (such as lead, mercury, copper, iron, arsenic, aluminium, calcium, etc.) is bonded to another substance. It is a natural process, basic to life itself. Chelation is one mechanism by which such common  substances as aspirin, antibiotics, vitamins, minerals and trace elements work in the body.

What is chelation as a medical therapy?

EDTA chelation is a safe treatment used by doctors since 1965 by which a synthetic amino acid called Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetate (commonly abbreviated as EDTA) is administered to a patient intravenously, prescribed by and under the supervision of a registered physician. The fluid containing EDTA, Magnesium, and Vitamin C is infused through a small needle placed in the vein of the patient's arm.  The EDTA in solution binds with harmful metals in the body and carries them away in the urine. Heavy metals markedly increase free-radical (oxidative) damage, and toxic metals such as lead are most easily removed by EDTA.

I must write a testimonial for this amazing treatment. I still can't quite believe the benefits –

I started a course of 20 chelation intravenous therapies - administered over a 10-week period. And with each week I had more energy- and life became sooo much easier! After the 20th treatment I now walk-up hills without much effort, the stairs to the house- no problem!

Never thought that it could be so easy again.

Highly recommend it to anyone who is dealing with these issues.  It's a life changer!  Thank you!
